Our Pond Clean Out Process
We make pond clean outs simple, safe, and thorough. From the first call to the final walkthrough, we protect your fish, restore water quality, and leave you with a cleaner, healthier pond you can enjoy.
Pond Assessment
We start with a plan to inspect water quality, sludge buildup, algae growth, filtration, and fish load. Often we can do this virtually with pictures and a phone interview. Then we explain what your pond needs, answer your questions, and give you a clear plan and realistic timeline before any work begins.
Safe Clean Out & System Care
On service day, we carefully move fish to a temporary holding tank, drain the pond as needed, remove debris and muck, and clean key surfaces without harming beneficial bacteria. We also rinse filter pads, check pumps, and clear plumbing to improve flow and performance. We are usually using a pressure washer, pond vac, pumps, and sometimes other equipment.
Refill, Restart & Final Walkthrough
After cleaning, we refill the pond, treat the water, restart the equipment, and return your fish once conditions are safe. Before we leave, we walk you through the work completed, share simple care tips, and make sure everything looks and runs the way it should.
