At Pacific Pond and Aquarium, we had the opportunity to transform a simple, chlorinated fountain into a lively and charming water garden. We approached this project with our partners Terremoto for the landscape design and DG Landworks for the installation. It truly showcases what can happen when creativity meets expertise in water feature design.
Our first task was to remove the chlorinated water from the existing fountain and prepare the structure for a natural, vibrant ecosystem. This involved carefully cleaning and adjusting the fountain to accommodate aquatic life and plants. We paid great attention to the balance needed to support the introduction of goldfish, ensuring they would thrive in their new habitat.
Bringing life to the water garden involved selecting appropriate plants and tiles. The edges were adorned with vibrant tiles that complement the lush greenery of the water plants. These elements created a cohesive look that resonates with the surrounding landscape of the property, providing a seamless transition from garden to water feature.
One of the unique aspects of this project was engineering the water flow to mimic a natural ecosystem. Our landscape design features ensure optimal conditions for the goldfish and plants, making maintenance as effortless as possible for the property owner.
In the end, this transformation was not just about aesthetic appeal; it was about crafting an inviting habitat and creating a peaceful outdoor retreat. The result is an enchanting water garden that stands as a testament to our commitment to quality in every project we undertake.
