Why they continue to place their trust in us
As Chairman of the Board for a multifamily building in West Los Angeles, I’ve worked with many vendors over the years—and Pacific Pond and Aquarium stands out as one of the most professional and reliable we’ve engaged. From the very beginning, their team was highly responsive and easy to work with. What really impressed me was their willingness to review photos I sent in advance, provide initial diagnostics, and offer thoughtful recommendations even before stepping on site. That level of accessibility and expertise saved us time and helped us feel confident moving forward. Their pricing was competitive, and the communication throughout the process was clear, prompt, and professional. They were also readily available by phone and asked all the right questions to fully understand our setup and needs. A special shoutout to Kaelib, the technician who handled our project. He was outstanding—professional, detail-oriented, and clearly takes pride in his work. He made sure we had the correct pump (upgrading us from a level 3 to a level 5 for proper water flow), carefully aligned the fountain, and ensured everything was operating at optimal performance. Beyond just completing the job, Kaelib went above and beyond by sharing his knowledge on how to maintain the fountain year-round, which we really appreciated. He also power washed the area and left the site spotless after activating the system. Overall, this was a smooth, high-quality experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Pacific Pond and Aquarium to any HOA, property manager, or homeowner looking for knowledgeable, responsive, and detail-oriented service.
Alex & DJ make our property come alive with beautiful plants & flowing streams; I cannot hear (just a 1/2 block away) the freeway because of the beautiful sound of waterfalls. Thank you for turning urban condos into a forest grotto!

"We are new to Los Angeles via Virginia and were overwhelmed when we "inherited" a fish pond with our new home purchase in West Hollywood. My husband researched pond services in Los Angeles which had a dizzying array of bad reviews accompanying them. As you can imagine, the is a business ripe for abuse--we had one business tell us we should change our pond water every single week ( uh, 1. There is a draught and 2. it's WRONG! Opinion on this varies widely, but one thing is pretty unanimous: in a healthy pond, a total water change should probably not be done. A complete water change is a huge shock to the pond, and everything in the pond). Andrew (the owner of Pacific Pond & Aquarium Service) is a gem. He gave us EXCELLENT pond advice. He also installed a new pump (and smartly), so we could reach the filter easily, and brought us a beautiful variety of plants for the pond. He has incredible integrity which I think you really need in this kind of business where you could easily be sold hundreds of extras (and unnecessary) on a monthly basis. I think it's worth noting: My husband spent hours calling multiple pond services about the specific filter we had and Andrew was the ONLY one who was familiar with our obscure filter Brand and how it compares to other filters on the market. He even educated my husband about the pros and cons of each! Andrew doesn't try to "sell" you anything. He genuinely and deeply cares about what he does and I would go as far as saying he's passionate about what he does. Just the other day I was desperate for some replacement plants for the pond (a raccoon made a meal of a few of the plants we had) and Andrew swung by with some great plants! Don't waste your time anywhere else, go with Andrew and Pacific Ponds."
